Brownie's Final Vet Visit

Brownie was put down on [2025-03-27 Thu] and I had a few hours of notice, so I decided to leave work and take a long lunch break so that I could see him one last time. I wrote the following on the day of.

I arrived home at [2025-03-27 Thu 12:25]. I sat with Brownie and pet him and cried. Brownie's appointment is at [2025-03-27 Thu 16:00]. I stayed until ~[2025-03-27 Thu 12:45], then I left to go back to work.

I know that this is largely inevitable/necesarry. Brownie is very old now. He can't see or hear well, he has chronic bronchitis, and his joints continue to get worse. It'll be a relief for him. I love you Brownie. I hope you feel better.
