The cucumber plant in the back yard has continued to do exceptionally well, at least in comparison to the other plants and I was able to pick my first home-grown cucumber from it last night!

I ate it with a falafel dinner from Bug Guys Chicken & Rice and it was pretty good! I gave one of the slices to Alexis and one to Kallie. It wasn't sour or bitter or anything, but I'm still not sure what the best time to harvest them is, but I read online that it's good to pick them relatively early, so that more of them grow. There aren't any more that are large, but here's hoping that more will get pollenated soon. :)

I installed Arch Linux on my laptop because Gentoo just became too annoying to use regularly. I also finally am trying Wayland using River. So far, it's been working out pretty well, but for some reason Worldbox won't work. It launches and runs just fine, it just crashes any time I try to pan using my mouse.

I've continued going to the morining BJJ classes (albeit inconsistently) and it's been fun. Recently though, I've gone to a few of the afternoon classes where there are a lot more people (~8-12).
