Gurge

Gurge was born and raised by her two parents. They travelled from place to place with a group of giants and life was good. She had enough food left over from the giants and was able to play during the day. One night, she was sleeping in the giant's pen and was awoken by the sound of several small humanoids sneaking into the camp. She watched them with curiosity until her concentration was interrupted by a low humming noise. Gurge couldn't recognize it; it wasn't any of the giants she knew. She felt a fast downward wind and looked up to see a very large object that was entirely alien to her. This did wake the giants who backed away from the descending object. Gurge did the same as much as she could within the pen before the object landed, crushing her mother and father as well as part of the pen. this alowed her to escape, which she promply did.

Too scared to stay with her parents Gurge ran away, but turned back to see what had happened. She saw three humanoid insects with four arms each walk out of the strange object and approach the giants. That image stayed with her as she conintinued running through the night. Eventually she came to a small house with lights on inside. She found a gnome inside and approached him. As he picked her up and comforted her, her mind was on the events from earlier that night.

Gurge has been living with that gnome named Gubbet since that night. Her life is good, but she occasionally thinks about those creatures that killed her parents. She never forgot, and she never forgave.
